Simple terms & conditions

We like to keep things clear and straightforward. When you book a journey with Shetland Chauffeur Company, here’s what you can expect:

Booking your ride

  • Please book in advance and give us the right details (time, date, pick-up, drop-off, etc.).
  • We’ll always confirm your booking and do our very best to be there on time.

Prices & payments

  • Your quote covers the car, driver and fuel.
  • Extras like waiting time, extra stops, tolls or parking may be added.
  • Deposit of 25% is due upon booking and full payment is due 1 week before the day of travel.

Cancellations

  • Cancel early (at least 2 days before pick-up) and you’ll get a refund.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged in full.

While you travel with us

  • Please treat our drivers and vehicles with respect.
  • No smoking or illegal substances in our cars.
  • If damage is caused to the vehicle, repair costs may be charged.

Luggage & belongings

  • You’re responsible for your luggage and personal items.
  • We can’t accept responsibility for items lost or left behind.

Delays

  • We aim to be on time, every time — but traffic, weather and road closures are sometimes beyond our control.
  • We can’t be held responsible for missed connections or costs caused by delays.

Safety

  • All our vehicles and drivers are fully licensed and insured.
  • Seatbelts must be worn at all times.
